In 1995, I was going to undergraduate school for pre-physical
therapy. I had done some volunteer work in the field to gain experience. As time
went on, I began to realize that maybe this was not really what I wanted to do.
One day while I was in school, a young student from Palmer College of
Chiropractic came in to talk about a career in Chiropractic. She talked about
how excited she was in becoming a Chiropractor and how we should consider this
field. At that point, it dawned on me that this was what I was missing!
I had been to a Chiropractor myself all through high school for various issues
with my spine. My father had been going to a chiropractor most of his life for
various low back problems. Every time I went with him I was fascinated at the
way he was standing taller when the Chiropractor was done!
I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in March 2002. I moved to
Wisconsin with my soon-to-be husband and practiced for 2 years. My husband,
Dave, was offered a job transfer to Washington; so here we are!
We had our first child, Alex, in April 2006 and are enjoying spending time with
him and living here in the Northwest.
I enjoy taking care of patients of all ages and spreading the word about
chiropractic to anyone who will listen!
